First Week Update

All we can say is W-O-W.  Rob fans are awesome, no surprise there. Six days in and we’re almost half way to our $13,000 goal!

We’re hoping to finish our first week at the 50% mark.  That’s $475 donated to GO Campaign by the end of the day, Thursday, April 21. We can do that, right?

GO Campaign posted a photo of one of their Local Heroes, Neema Namadamu on Instagram earlier.

Neema Namadamu and the Maman Shujaa, or Hero Women of Congo, work to empower women and girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their programs include computer training, the Girl Ambassador Leadership Program, and the Itombwe Center; which provides the Computer Literacy Training and Internet Access program and the Days for Girls Sanitary Solution project; so that girls can attend school without interruption and women are protected against infectious diseases after giving birth.  There’s much more fascinating and inspiring information on the Maman Shujaa website.

Your donations to GO Campaign go directly to Local Heroes, like Neema Namadamu, who are helping to give opportunities to children in their areas.

We have 24 days left to reach our goal of $13000 in 30 days to help kids around the world by celebrating  Robert Pattinson’s birthday through giving. Let’s GO Rob fans!
